This post office is horrible! The customer service here doesn't just lack, it is nonexistent. There is no way there is always always a line, no matter what time or day you come to this location. The postal service members behind the glass, also do no make the visit any better. They are very short with customers which actually goes into a very rude manner. Today, I went into the location, and to my surprise, there was no one in there. I walked up to the window and handed my pick-up slip to the employee. Without any words she pointed to a very plain non-professional notice at the window that said "NO PICK-UPS BEFORE 12 PM." I told her I needed to go to work and will not be able to come back. She said "Sorry no pick-ups before 12 pm" and proceeded to talk to the other employee also there. Now my package will be sent back because of this impossible rule, only in place at this USPS location.
This place here makes no sense. Customer service is terrible. Long lines 90% of the time with one window open to serve people. If this post office were in another neighborhood I’m pretty sure the experience would be more professional. This post office definitely needs new management.
Makes the DMV seem like Disney. You only go here when you have to - like to pick up a package that was undelivered. Now you can’t even do that before noon because they’re too busy pretending to be sorting and dispatching. The one person staff was totally useless and I was given the phone number of a different post office to try to have my packages redelivered - and they managed to screw up that date as well. If possible, I’d rate them with negative stars. Been like this for over a decade
Worst customer service of all the USPS in Jerset City. And unfortunately ut has to be the one near where I live and get most of my packages. It is the muddle of the day and I've been waiting for an hour with avout 20 other people. I wish I could receive my mail on West Side Ave post office.
Worst post office ever. Long lines, and they make up their own mail rules like, no package pick up till 12pm. What happens to people who work everyday? Also signature delivery packages never make it. They leave a slip and sometimes don't. Terrible!!!
