I've been trying to find a decent Chinese takeout place in Jersey City since I moved here 2 years ago and after 3 failed attempts on 3 different spots I just gave up. I decided to give Lin's gourmet a shot after reading other reviews and I WAS NOT disappointed. We ordered the steam pork bun which is really tasty! it's no Joe's Shanghai soup dumpling but it's really good for a regular kind. Beef Chow fen as good as you can get in a takeout place and that's what won my heart. If a Chinese takeout place mess up Beef Chow Fen then you can skip everything else all together. We also ordered 2 veggies and they are on the lighter side, they are not salty nor drenched in soy sauce so you actually taste the flavor of the veggies. Maybe that's why some reviewers said it was bland.
Their food is always good and the people are always nice.
This lady said that she didn't hear over the phone with a order of fries after I repeated it to her and I picked up and repeated and she said yes it's there then when I got to the house there was no fries in my bag. I called and she said I didn't hear anything about a order of fries ridiculous

If you will order delivery make sure you have a monopoly game laying around..Delivery took more than an hour... Probably delivering on Rollerblades ...
